Descripción : Every student experiences a series of physical and psychological changes in the course of adolescence. For that reason, teachers must take those transformations into account to adjust the teaching practices while respecting all learners’ differences, interests and needs. In other words, educators have to consider the diverse situational and individual factors involved in the language class. The following research is motivated by such a demanding task when developing students’ L2 acquisition in secondary education. This study aimed to identify learning styles among secondary school students, investigate their relevance to Second Language Acquisition (SLA), and check the students’ level of awareness concerning this matter. The hypothesis was tested through the quantitative analysis (QA) of the data collected with tests, surveys and questionnaires. To this end, thirty students were randomly selected from a state-run secondary school in Roque Pérez, Buenos Aires province (Argentina).teaching practices –
